Karlie is singer/songwriter from Hawaii. She was introduced to the ukulele at a young age and she quickly fell in love with the little four-stringed instrument. By the age of 14, she has won numerous ukulele and vocal competitions which opened the door to performance opportunities statewide, this fueled her passion to perform live and share her music.

The ukulele is synonymous with Hawaii and its rich music culture. Karlie continues to immerse herself in the tradition, but she also performs other genres using the ukulele. This surprises many the first time they hear her music.

Karlie’s original compositions incorporate the unique sound of the ukulele, creating her own style of “Pop-R&B-Island” as she calls it. Karlie’s soulful, emotional, and powerful voice goes well beyond her age, which is displayed in her music.
